Reading dune

The Lesedüne is a Berlin reading stage that has existed since 2005 with a focus on system-critical humor. It takes place every two weeks in SO36 in Oranienstrasse in Berlin-Kreuzberg . The members of the reading dune perform texts and / or songs they have written themselves. At least one guest is invited to each reading stage. In 2010 and 2016, the members of the Lesedüne published two books together and went on tour with them.

history

The reading dune took place for the first time in 2005, since 2006 regularly. Initially, the reading dune was carried out in changing beach bars, later in Kiki Blofeld. The Lesedüne then moved several times, including to the Edelweiss, the Monarch and the South Block. Today the reading dune takes place regularly in SO36 in Oranienstrasse in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

They went on tour in Germany in February 2010 with their book “About Waking and Sleeping”, and they are currently on tour with their 2016 book “About Working and Ready”.

In the spring of 2016, the members of the Lesedüne produced the television show Bühne 36 in cooperation with the rbb and ARD , which, based on the Lesedüne, consisted of reading out humorous texts. A total of four episodes with a length of 30 minutes were broadcast, which have also been available on Netflix since they were broadcast .

In December 2016, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the reading dune, an anniversary show took place in the Volksbühne .

Marc-Uwe Kling

Marc-Uwe Kling is a German songwriter , cabaret artist , cabaret artist and writer. In addition to self-written texts, he also performs songs on the reading dune. He was also a founding member of Lesedüne.

Maik Martschinkowsky

Maik Martschinkowsky is a German writer and founding member of Lesedüne. He moderates and organizes several poetry slams and in 2014 published his first book “Von nothing comes was”.

Julius Fischer

Julius Fischer

Julius Fischer is a German writer, cabaret artist and poetry slammer. In contrast to other members, he has only been a permanent member of Lesedüne since 2011 and not a founding member.

Kolja Reichert

Kolja Reichert is a founding member of Lesedüne, a German journalist and author. Currently he is only an "honorary member" of the reading dune and is hardly active.

Dota

Dota is a German songwriter and music producer . In contrast to other members, she has only been a permanent member of Lesedüne since 2019 and is therefore not a founding member.
