Lesky ( Ukrainian Леськи ; Russian Леськи Leski ) is a village in the central Ukrainian Cherkassy Oblast with about 4,000 inhabitants (2001).
" Palace of Culture " in Lesky
The village, first mentioned in 1726, forms its own district council within the Cherkassy Raion .
It is bordered on the northwest by the municipality of Chervona Sloboda and in the northeast to the south bank of the kremenchuk reservoir dammed Dnepr . The regional road P – 10 runs through Lesky , via which the oblast capital Cherkassy can be reached after 18 km in a north-westerly direction.
