Lesley Barber
Lesley Barber (born June 23, 1968 in Guelph , Ontario ) is a Canadian composer .
Life
Lesley Barber began composing at the age of ten and won several youth composition awards, so that she was able to complete her music studies at the University of Toronto in 1988 , where she was tutored by Gustav Ciamaga and Gustav Klein , among others . She then spent a few years in the alternative theater scene in Toronto as a composer, before working as a film composer for the first time in 1995 with The Little Bear and When the Night Begins .
