Leslie Bovee

Leslie Bovee , also Lesllie Bovee and Leslie Bovée (born May 1, 1949 in Bend , Oregon , USA , actually Leslie Wahner) is a former American porn actress .

Life

After finishing school, Bovee worked as a stewardess for some time.

Her work in the porn industry began in 1975 with the low-budget film Carnal Haven by director Carlos Tobalina. She and John Leslie play a couple who are sexually dissatisfied and who are helped to a happier life through better sexual techniques through a seminar.

On August 8, 1978, she was arrested for "indecent and immoral dancing" during a promotional event for her film SexWorld at The Village movie theater in Houston . The very film, in which John Leslie and Annette Haven also starred, was inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 1978 .

Your film Little Blue Box started in 1980 as a hot ice cream lolly in the Federal Republic of Germany. He later appeared in the video rental shop in a version shortened by the explicit scenes and advertised as a sex comedy.

When CINEMA-X came out in January 1980 (replaced by Adult Cinema Review after 16 issues ), Issue 2 (February 1980) contained a portrait of Leslie Bovee and the following issues up to December 1980 each contained a section with letters to her ( " Letters to Leslie ").

Also in 1980 she appeared in the film Love You together with Eric Edwards and Annette Haven. Directed by John Derek with his wife Bo Derek as producer. The film was heavily based on mainstream films with dialogues and different film locations. The role of Bovee also went beyond the sexual representations and showed that she "had the skills to be taken seriously as an actress."

In total, she starred in over 30 hardcore films from 1975 to 1986. She is a member of the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame .

She decided to get out of the porn film industry in the early 1980s. According to her own statements, she started her career mainly because she found her normal life boring. She saw it as an entry into the acting business and an easy path to fame. In retrospect, she regrets not having acted in high quality films.
