Leslie Ekker
Leslie George Ekker (born August 15, 1955 in Hollywood , California ) is an American film technician who specializes in visual effects .
Life
After graduating from the Art Center College of Design, Leslie began his career as a designer and visual effects animator on Star Trek - The Movie in 1979 . He then started modeling at Bladerunner and became a department head at Digital Domain. Eventually he became visual effects supervisor and creative director on films like True Lies , Titanic and Apollo 13 , for which he received a BAFTA Award - and an Oscar nomination .
