Lester Ellis

Lester Ellis (born March 15, 1965 in Blackpool , Lancashire , England ) is a retired Australian boxer with a British background in super featherweight and normal boom .

He won his first 16 fights, most of them by knockout. In addition, he became world champion of the IBF in his 14th fight . He defended the belt against Rod Sequenan with a classic knockout in Round 13 and lost it on July 12, 1985 to Barry Michael unanimously on points.

1995/1996 he was world champion in the light middleweight division of the IBO .

In June 2002 his last fight took place against Anthony Mundine in Australia , which he lost by technical knockout in round 3.
