The Leucorrhiniinae ( Syn .: Leucorrhininae) are a subfamily of the sail dragonflies (Libellulidae) within the dragonflies . It is home to eight genera and was established in 1940 by Tillyard and Fraser .

features

The species of the subfamily Leucorrhiniinae are mostly of small to medium size. Their faces are white and the veins are open. The different sectors of the Arculus already separate at their origin. The base of the wing triangle in the hind wing is at the level of the arculus. There are also veins in the cubital area .
