Levent Demiray (born November 14, 1979 in Berlin ) is a German-Turkish soccer player .

Career

Demiray began his professional football career in 1997 with the reserve team of Hertha BSC , which was playing in the NOFV Oberliga at the time . After three seasons in the league, Turkish scouts became aware of the young defensive player. He accepted an offer from the Turkish first division club Trabzonspor and signed for two years. Demiray was loaned to the second division Güngören Belediyespor in the first season and made his debut in Turkish professional football here. However, he could not prevail against the competition and tried his luck with league rivals Akçaabat Sebatspor in the second half of the season . Here, too, he could not secure a regular place and decided to return to Germany in 2002.

After three stations, FC Schönberg 95 , Türkiyemspor Berlin and Berliner AK 07 , in the NOFV Oberliga, he dared to try again in Turkey. Demiray was committed by Yimpaş Yozgatspor , who was relegated from the second division at the end of the 2005/06 season. After the season he moved to Giresunspor and quickly secured a regular place. In two seasons he barely missed a game and scored ten goals.

For the 2008/09 season he moved to Sakaryaspor . Here he spent the longest years of his professional career and as a defensive specialist it was impossible to imagine the team without it. In total, he came to 123 missions in five seasons.

In the summer of 2013 he finally moved to Denizlispor in the TFF 1st Lig . However, the contract was terminated during the winter break.
