Levie Isaacks

Levie Isaacks (born August 14, 1946 in Houston , Texas ) is an American cameraman .

Life

During the Vietnam War he served in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star . Isaacks then studied at the University of Texas and graduated there in 1972. In the 1980s he began working as a camera assistant and simple cameraman in the film business. From the late 1980s he worked as an independent cameraman.

In the 1990s Isaacks was increasingly active in television. From 2000 to 2004, he was involved in more than 100 episodes of the Malcolm series . He also directed several episodes for this series.

Since 2004 he has been a member of the American Society of Cinematographers . 2012 was nominated for the ASC Award. In 1995 he received a nomination for the CableACE Award .
