Levani Dolenjaschwili , also Levani Dolenjashvili (born January 22, 1989 in Gurdschaani , Georgian SSR ) is an Austrian professional light middleweight boxer.

Amateur career

He started boxing at the age of ten in Gurdschaani, Georgia , came to Austria at the age of 14 and initially trained under Josef Kowarik in Vienna . The southpaw has been boxing for the Bounce Club in Ottakring since 2012 . In 2010 and 2011 he won the international Dolomites Cup in Lienz .

In 2012 he became Austrian welterweight champion and was named the best boxer of the championships. He defeated Ahmed Marei in the semifinals by breaking off in the first round and in the final Michael Sakowicz with 26: 3 on points.

In March 2012 he won the gold medal at the 2nd Vienna Box Cup in Vienna with victories against Peter Sakas from Israel and Patrik Hejl from the Czech Republic . In June 2012 he won the Grand Prix Slovakia in Nitra , defeating the Slovak local hero Tomáš Zold in the semifinals and the Czech Karel Necesanek in the final. In the same month, he also won the 21st Chemnitz boxing tournament in Germany. He prevailed against the German U-21 champion Sebastian Knigge, the Russian Eduard Aimuchambetow and the German Philip Nsinghi. In October of the same year he was also able to win the Dolomites Cup again . He beat Barnabas Hegyi from Hungary and the German Steven Schwan, in addition, he was voted the best boxer of the tournament.

In March 2013 he won the 3rd Vienna Box Cup and was honored as the best boxer of the tournament. He had defeated the Russian junior European champion Vitaly Dunaizew and the Olympian Zdeněk Chládek from the Czech Republic. At the chemistry cup in March 2013 in Germany, he was defeated in the quarterfinals against the Brazilian Roberto Queiroz with 6:10.

In 2013 he was again Austrian welterweight champion and was again voted best boxer of the championships. This time he won the semi-finals against Semir Omerović and in the final against Michael Gunitzberger. In September he won the silver medal at the Nations Cup in Wiener Neustadt . Professional career

After a long, injury-related break, he switched to the professional camp in early 2015 and won his debut on February 7th in Vienna prematurely in the first round against the Croatian Leonhard Šarić. He was also able to win his second fight on February 28 by knocking out in the first round against Csaba Torma from Hungary. On March 28, he won unanimously on points against the Slovak Ladislav Nemeth. In July 2015 he defeated Achilles Szabó from Hungary by knockout in the seventh round. In October 2015 he defeated the Brazilian champion Claudinei Lacerda on points.

After a break due to an elbow operation, he won against the Belgian James Hagenimana in March 2016. In April 2016 he defeated the Frenchman Fouad El Massoudi unanimously. In July 2016 he defeated the Bulgarian Stilijan Kostow and in October 2016 the Hungarian Krisztian Santa.

In June 2017 he defeated János Lakatos prematurely in the second round. He won another early victory against István Szűcs in January 2017. In April 2018 he boxed a draw against the undefeated Russian Aram Amirkhanyan. In October 2018 he won on points against Sandro Jajanidze. He won another points in October 2019 against the German Mazen Girke.
