Li Huirong

Li Huirong ( Chinese  李 惠 榮  /  李 惠 荣 , Pinyin Lǐ Huìróng; born April 14, 1965 ) is a former Chinese long and triple jumper .

At the Asian Games in 1982 she won bronze in the long jump.

On October 11, 1987, in Hamamatsu , she was the first woman to do a 14-meter triple jump with 14.04 m. The following year she achieved another unofficial world record on April 23 in Shijiazhuang with 14.16 m.

On August 25, 1990, he set the first official world record in the triple jump with 14.54 m in Sapporo .

In this discipline she won silver at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Seville and gold at the Universiade in 1991 . In 1992 she won the World Cup in Athletics in Havana .
