Li Xin (born July 31, 1992 in Harbin , Heilongjiang ) is a Chinese cross-country skier .

Career

Li has participated in competitions organized by the Fédération Internationale de Ski since 2007 . Her first of 49 World Cup races so far she ran in Changchun in February 2007 , which she finished with 24th place in the 10 km freestyle. She got her first and so far only World Cup points. Her best placement at the 2009 Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec was 37th in the 30 km mass start race. At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , she finished 64th in the 10 km freestyle. In February 2011 she won the bronze medal with the relay at the 2011 Asian Winter Games . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme , 37th place in the 30 km mass start race was her best result. In February 2015 she achieved her best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun . 39th place in the skiathlon and 17th place in the team sprint. At the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo , she won the silver medal with the relay. Her best placings at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang were 36th place over 10 km freestyle and 17th place together with Chi Chunxue in the team sprint. Her best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol were 38th place in the skiathlon and 16th place in the relay.
