Liaodong Bay

The Liaodong Bay ( Chinese  遼東 灣  /  辽东 湾 , Pinyin Liáodōng Wān ) in the west of the Chinese province of Liaoning , which is also called the Gulf of Liaodong , Liaodong Gulf , etc., is the northeastern of the three bays of the Bohai Gulf or Bohai -Sea ( Bo Hai ) in the Yellow Sea .

Important places are Huludao , Jinzhou , Panjin and Yingkou . The rivers Liao He ( 辽河 ), Daling He ( 大 凌河 ) and Xiaoling He ( 小凌河 ) flow into the bay. There is plenty of oil and gas . Important ports are Yingkou (Liaoning) and Qinhuangdao (Hebei).
