The Liburnian junk lily ( Asphodeline liburnica ) is a plant species from the genus of junk lilies ( Asphodeline ) in the subfamily of the Affodill family (Asphodeloideae).

The Liburnian junk lily is a perennial herbaceous plant that usually reaches heights of 60 to 100 (35 to 145) centimeters. It forms a rhizome and tuber roots. The leaves are 1 to 2 millimeters wide and rough on the edge. The bracts are short triangular to lanceolate, short pointed, 5 to 7 (10) millimeters long and shorter than the flower stalks . The perigone is colored yellow and (23) 25 to 35 millimeters long. The capsule fruits have a diameter of 7 to 8 millimeters.
The flowering time is in June, sometimes it begins as early as May.
Occurrence
The Liburnian junk lily occurs in Italy, the Balkans and Crete in maquis and forest clearings. It is mostly found on lime.
