Licia Maglietta (born November 16, 1954 in Naples ) is an Italian actress.

Licia Maglietta first studied architecture before starting her dance and acting career in the theater. In 1981 she joined the group Falso Movimento . In the same year she was on stage in a performance of Othello . In 1994 she played in Leonce and Lena , in 2000 in Molières Tartuffe .

Licia Maglietta worked mostly with the theater and film director Mario Martone . In 1997 she made her first experiences with director Silvio Soldini while filming Le Acrobate . Three years later she also starred in the film Bread and Tulips under his direction . For her acting performance in the role of Rosalba she was awarded the David di Donatello , a Nastro d'Argento (band in silver of the Italian film criticism), a Globo d'oro and a Ciak d'oro. In 2004 she made another film with Soldini, Agata and the Storm .

Licia Maglietta is divorced and has two children.
