The Age of the Earth is a German TV film by Jörg Grünler from 2016 . It is the tenth and last episode of the ARD film series Love at the Fjord .
action
The mountain guide Birthe Haugen loses her feet when her 20-year-old daughter Tilde moves out of her home. Her husband Nils thinks about seeing the positive sides, especially since it is good that her daughter now wants to go her own way. Birthe wants a second child, the rest is too unbearable for her. But under no circumstances does her husband want to become a father again. So she secretly goes on a glacier tour with the terminally ill geologist Henrik Jacobsen, who gives her joy in life again and sleeps with her in the tent.
