Susann Uplegger (born January 14, 1971 in Graal-Müritz ) is a German actress .

education

Susann Uplegger completed a vocal training as a mezzo-soprano. From 1984 to 1987 she attended the R. Wagner-Régeny Conservatory in Rostock and majored in the fine arts . In 1989 she passed her high school diploma . From 1986 to 1988 she completed an evening course in painting at the University of Applied Arts in Heiligendamm . In 1989 she began studying at the Hans Otto Leipzig Theater Academy , which she continued from 1991 at the Dresden State Theater Studio , and at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège in Belgium , which she finished in 1994.

In 1991 she went to Belgium to the Center de Recherches et de Formations Théâtrales en Wallonie. There she played in Faust and in Figaro's wedding .

In Germany she played in the Staatsschauspielhaus Dresden Theater from 1992 (including play again Sam and German ballads ).

In 2006 she appeared on the side of Jörg Schüttauf in the play Daydreamers by William Mastrosimone . After a tour through Germany, the piece was directed by Karin Boyd in Berlin at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm . The second tour ran from November 2007 to January 2008.

In 2014 she played in the play The Ideal Woman at the Renaissance Theater Berlin .

Private

She and her twin sister stood together in front of the camera in the GDR at the age of seven. They posed in the Zekiwa catalog for strollers and bicycles.

Uplegger lives with the director Olaf Götz . In 2000 Uplegger's daughter was born.

Others

In 2005, she and her fellow actors Nadine Warmuth , Sylwia von Wildburg , Egon Hofmann , Jost Pieper and Uta Prelle took part in the Walkathon Berlin for a good cause.
