Egon Hofmann (born October 11, 1952 in Bad Homburg in front of the height ) is a German actor .

Live and act

After a broken apprenticeship as an advertising clerk , he completed his acting training at the Hanover University of Music and Theater in 1976 ; Claus Theo Gärtner supported him in the entrance exam .

After 1976 he played theaters in Hamburg , Berlin and Frankfurt am Main and took part in theater tours with Sonja Kirchberger and Edzard Haußmann, among others.

Between 1980 and 1993 he was involved in nine television productions for public broadcasters, between 1993 and 2004 he mainly played roles in television series for Sat.1 and RTL . From 1997 he played the role of Peter Kittler in the RTL series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast for nine years and can also be heard on two CDs produced for the series. In 2004 he had a supporting role in the telenovela Bianca - Ways to Happiness and in 2008 a supporting role in the follow-up series Ways to Happiness . From 2008 to 2009 he played the role of an adoptive father in Good Times, Bad Times .

From August to October 2007 he played the role of Siggi in whole guys in the comedy Düsseldorf .

Egon Hofmann lives in Berlin.
