The L 556 2plus2 is a medium-weight wheel loader from the Liebherr Group . It is manufactured in the wheel loader plant in Bischofshofen in the Salzburg region .
description
With an operating weight of around 17 tonnes, the L 556 2plus2 is one of the heavier wheel loaders in the Liebherr product range. It is equipped with an in-house, water-cooled diesel engine with exhaust gas turbocharger and charge air cooling from the Bulle plant . The drive technology of this loader is based on a gearbox with two differently sized, directly attached oil motors with separate clutches . One of the two oil motors is active when the wheel loader accelerates and decelerates. This means that the wheel loader adapts smoothly to any work situation, regardless of the required driving speed and tractive effort . Almost all components of the vehicle are developed in-house and manufactured in over one hundred of our own companies worldwide.
The wheel loader is used in conventional civil engineering , handling technology, recycling , demolition and the forest , timber and steel industries.
Shovels and equipment
Different blades allow variable use in different industries:
- Light material bucket
- High tip bucket
- Loading fork
- Log grapple
The attachments and shovels are developed and manufactured by Liebherr.
