Liensfeld is a district of the municipality of Bosau in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein .
Liensfeld is a row village with about 250 inhabitants, consists of seven farms and various single and multi-family houses as well as some smaller ponds in a slightly hilly landscape. There are also around ten businesses registered. The Klintaue is present as a stream. The Rastleben Lake, which is under nature protection, lies slightly east of the village . Another district in the direction of Klenzau is Windberg. Located in the center of the village is the home of the Liensfeld-Kiekbusch volunteer fire brigade , which is also used as a village community center with lively club and other social activities.
One village head and two deputies are elected.
The first mention of the village took place according to the Schleswig State Archives in 1215 (originally Mellinesfelde , later Linsvelt ). The derivation from the preacher Vizelin is unlikely . In 2015, the 800th anniversary will be celebrated. The voluntary fire brigade was founded in 1910.
The best known Liensfelder is the farmer's son Hans-Heinrich Sievert .
