action

The high school student Ayumu Shiiba is a rather mediocre student. When she learns that her best friend Shinozuka, the best student in the class, wants to go to Nishi High School, Ayumu is ambitious because she would like to go to the same school with her friend. So the two begin to study together. In order to stay awake in the evening while studying, Ayumu often stings himself with the circle. Ayumu's grades eventually get better and better, surpassing those of Shinzouka. She passes the entrance exam; But not Shinozuka, who then breaks up the friendship. Ayumu begins to scratch his arm out of pain .

At Nishi High School, Ayumu befriends her classmate Manami Anzai, but she begins to burden Ayumu with her problems. Manami tries to throw himself in front of a train when her friend Katsumi breaks up with her, but is stopped by Ayumu at the last second. When Ayumu finds out that Manami's ex-boyfriend, a quiet, very good and popular student, is a sadistic pervert who enjoys tying, gagging and causing pain to girls, he lures Ayumu into a trap, tying them up as well and photograph them. With these photos, Katsumi puts pressure on her not to reveal his secret. It gets especially bad for Ayumu when her mother hires Katsumi as a tutor for her. Manami also believes that Ayumu wants to take Katsumi away from her. Therefore, Manami begins to develop hatred of Ayumu. She instigates her classmates to bully Ayumu, which is why the girl is isolated. Nobody believes her when she tells the truth about Katsumi. Katsumi portrays it as if Ayumu is chasing him.

Also in Ayumu's class is Miki Hatori, who is often absent from school and works on the side. Miki is bullied by others and is known as a slut. She is top of the class and the only one who shows compassion for Ayumu. Ayumu eventually finds out that Miki is working because her father is sick and they have almost no money. When Ayumu Miki helps once, she is bullied by the others too.
