Liivi ( Estonian Liivi jõgi ) is the name of a river in Estonia .

It is a right tributary of the Kasari . Its historical German name is Lohdescher Bach .

The Liivi River has its source near the village of Risti in Lääne County . It has a length of 55 km. Its catchment area covers 257 km².

Already around 1680 there was a water mill on the river near the manor house of Koluvere (German Lohde ). A map from 1789 shows a total of eight mills. The river is also known for its good fishing grounds.
