Lil Skies

Lil Skies (born August 4, 1998 in Chambersburg , Franklin County , Pennsylvania ; real name Kimetrius Foose ) is an American rapper .

life and career

Kimetrius Foose was born in Pennsylvania in August 1998 . At the age of four he began to write his own lyrics. In his childhood, he was mostly inspired by artists like 50 Cent , Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa . His father Michael Burton, Jr. was also known as a rapper by the name Dark Skies . His first mixtape Good Grades, Bad Habits 2 was released in February 2016 and his second mixtape Alone was released in January 2017 . Neither of them could place themselves in the charts. In June 2017 the first single of his third mixtape, Red Roses ( German  Rote Rosen ) was released. The second single Nowadays ( German  Nowadays ) was released in December. Both singles were able to place on the Billboard Hot 100 . In April 2018, Red Roses was awarded a gold record in the USA. In March 2019 his debut album Shelby was released.
