Linda Ghisoni

Linda Ghisoni (* 1965 in Cortemaggiore , Italy ) is an Italian theologian, canon lawyer and Roman Catholic curia official .

Life

Linda Ghisoni studied Catholic theology at the University of Tübingen and was in 1999 at the Pontifical Gregorian University in the subject canon law doctorate . She was admitted to the Roman Rota in 2002 and held various positions at the Curia Courts. From 2003 to 2009 she was a marriage defender at the Rota. From 2013 to 2016 she was a member of the Pontifical Council for the Laity and then a lecturer in Canon Law at the Gregorian and the University of Rome III .

On November 7, 2017, Pope Francis appointed her Undersecretary in the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life with responsibility for the area of ​​lay people. On April 21, 2018, the Pope appointed her Consultor of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith .

Linda Ghisoni is married and has two children.
