Linde Ergo

Linde Ergo (born July 16, 1966 in Ghent ) is a Belgian sculptor .

Life

Linde Ergo comes from a family of artists. She studied sculpture at the Academie van Ukkel and graduated from the Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Ghent. In 1992 she went to New York, where she worked for eight years in the Sculpture Center ( Queens NYC ). It was there that she had her first exhibitions. She then returned to Belgium. She lives and works in De Haan (North Sea).

Linde Ergo is dedicated to representational art. Her focus is on the expression of human feelings and sensations. Her work includes small to life-size sculptures made of bronze and terracotta . Her sculpture Hope (mother with child) for the Sint Vincentius Hospital in Antwerp received a lot of attention in 2013 , and won a selection process from a hundred other designs.
