Lindsay Christina Elston (born April 30, 1992 in McMurray , Pennsylvania ) is a former American soccer player .
Career
society
During her studies at the University of Washington Elston played for the local college team of the Washington Huskies and also played for the W-League - franchise of the Seattle Sounders Women from 2011 to 2013 . Immediately before the start of the 2014 season , she was signed by the newly formed NWSL franchise of Houston Dash and made her debut there on April 12 in a home defeat against Portland Thorns FC . After five missions for Houston, Elston was released from her employer on July 9 to make room for the engagement of attacker Melissa Henderson .
For the second half of the 2014/15 season she moved to the French first division promoted FC Metz , for whom she played in five games by the end of the season. Prior to the 2016 season, Elston returned to the NWSL and joined Seattle Reign FC . In August 2017, she was transferred from Seattle to league rivals Boston Breakers , for whom she did not appear in any competitive game. The following September Elston ended her active career.
National team
Elston was in the extended squad of the US U-18 and U-20 national teams.
