Lindsey Napela Berg (born July 16, 1980 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is an American volleyball player . Since 2003 she has played in the American national team .

Berg has been playing volleyball since she was seven years old. Her professional career began when she studied at the University of Minnesota from 1999 to 2001 and was on the university team. From 2004 Lindsey Berg played for clubs in Italy - only until 2007 with Robursport Pesaro , 2007 and 2008 with Asystel Volley Novara and from 2009 to 2012 with MC-Carnaghi Villa Cortese . Then she moved to Turkey for Champions League winner Fenerbahçe İstanbul . It takes on the role of the player .

Lindsey Berg was internationally successful at the Volleyball World Grand Prix (twice bronze and gold in 2011 ) and at the Volleyball World Cup (one silver and one bronze each). At the 2010 Women's Volleyball World Cup , she reached fourth place with her team.

Lindsey Berg was a member of the American Olympic team three times. In 2004 in Athens, the US team lost to Brazil in the quarterfinals and finished fifth. In 2008 in Beijing, the Americans again lost to Brazil, but only in the final, whereby Lindsey Berg won the silver medal. In 2012 in London , Berg and the US team were again in the final against Brazil and after a 3-1 defeat they received silver again.
