The Lindum Valley is an icy valley in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range , it is 8 km west-northwest of Derrick Peak . To the north the valley opens up to the Hatherton Glacier .
A team of New Zealand geologists from the University of Waikato , who carried out surveys in this area between 1978 and 1979, named the valley based on the name of the city of Lincoln in the English county of Lincolnshire in Roman times (see Lindum Colonia ).
