Line Haugsted (born November 11, 1994 in Skive ) is a Danish handball player who belongs to the squad of the Danish national team.

Career

In the club

Line Haugsted started playing handball at the Danish club Skive fH . In 2010 the back player moved to FC Midtjylland Håndbold , with whose U-18 team she won the Danish championship in 2012. In summer 2012 she returned to Skive fH. In the 2015/16 season, Haugsted played for HC Odense , with whom she took part in the EHF Cup . She then signed a contract with Viborg HK .

In the national team

Line Haugsted initially played for the Danish youth and junior national team. With these teams she won the gold medal at the U-18 World Cup in 2012 and the bronze medal at the U-19 European Championship in 2013 and at the U-20 World Cup in 2014 . At the 2014 World Cup, she was also elected to the All-Star Team.

Haugsted has been playing for the Danish national team since November 28, 2014. It belonged to the Danish squad for the European Championship 2016 , in the World Cup in 2017 and the European Championship in 2018 at.
