Line Geltzer Johansen (born July 26, 1989 in Aalborg ) is a Danish football goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Danish first division club Vejle BK since 2017 and plays for the Danish national football team .

Career

Johansen played in Denmark, Norway and Australia and studied at the universities in Aalborg and Brisbane . After she was relegated from the top series with Amazon Grimstad FK in 2015 , she switched to previous league rivals Vålerenga IF .

National team

She made her debut for the national team on January 25, 2016 in a 2-1 draw against the Netherlands as part of a training camp in Turkey . She then had to wait a year for her next appearance, this time in Cyprus in a 1-1 draw against Scotland. At the Algarve Cup 2017 , which took place two months later , she was used in the second group match in a 6-0 win against Portugal, with her first clean sheet. In June she was nominated for the 2017 European Women's Football Championship .
