Sound Horizon has been a Japanese music project by the composer, guitarist, singer and lyricist Revo since 2001 . It's under contract with Pony Canyon .

history

On December 30th, the group's first CD, which was then still a dojin music circle, was released with the title Chronicle in the Comic Market . Aramary joined the group shortly before Thanatos was released in 2002. A year later, Jimang and Haruka Shimotsuki were invited as guests.

They made their debut in the charts in 2004 with the album "Elysion - Prelude to Paradise–" (Japanese Elysion- 楽 園 へ の 前奏曲 - Rakuen heno Zensokyoku).

Aramary left the band in 2006.

Her sixth CD was released on September 3, 2008, entitled Moira . Takashi Utsunomiya ( TM NETWORK ) was invited as a guest.

In 2010 her Prologue maxi single "Ido e itaru Mori e itaru Ido" (Japanese イ ド へ 至 る 森 へ 至 る イ ド) and her seventh CD with the title “Märchen” were released. In the same year Marty Friedman was invited as guitarist and Kanami Ayano as singer.

In June 2011, the Linked Horizon project was launched to intensify work on other Revo works. He composed the soundtrack for Square Enix 's Nintendo 3DS game “Bravely Default: Flying Fairy”. Then appeared: “The small travel report to Luxendarc” and “The large travel report to Luxendarc”. In April 2013, the song "Feuerroter Pfeil und Bogen" (Japanese 紅蓮 の 弓矢Guren no Yumiya ) was released, which was used for the opening of the celebrated anime series Attack on Titan . On July 10, 2013, the single reached number two on the daily Oricon single charts. Then came “The Reach for Freedom” (Japanese へ の 進 撃Jiyū e no Shingeki ), which was sold around 58,770 times on the first day.
