Linnéa Petra Sofie Claeson (born January 31, 1992 in Norrköping ) is a former Swedish handball player and network activist who campaigns against the sexual harassment of women.

Handball career

Linnéa Claeson started playing handball at the age of nine at Norrköpings Kvinnliga IK. After the left-hander moved to Karlstad , she played for IF Hellton. From the age of 15 she played for Skuru IK . With Skuru she won the Swedish Youth Championship in 2009. In the final she scored 3 hits against IK Sävehof .

Claeson later ran on with the Skuru women's team in the Elitserien . With Skuru she became Swedish runner-up in 2014, 2015 and 2016. She also took part with Skuru in the EHF Cup 2013/14 , EHF European Cup Winners 'Cup 2014/15 , EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2015/16 and EHF Cup 2016/17 . In summer 2017, Cleason joined the Danish first division club Ringkøbing Håndbold . In February 2018, their contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

Linnéa Claeson was a member of the Swedish youth and junior national team. She won the gold medal at the U-18 Women's Handball World Championship in 2010 and at the U-20 Women's Handball World Championship in 2012 .

Net activism and media

After Claeson was sexually harassed several times on her Facebook profile, she started the Instagram account Assholesonline . Here she publishes public screenshots of the harassment as well as sent offensive photos, which she comments with sharp humor. As a result, she received a lot of media attention. She has been a columnist at Aftonbladet since 2017 .
