Lionel Grebot (born January 5, 1978 in Nantua , France ) is a former French biathlete .

Career

Lionel Grebot has been biathlon since 1996. He started for CSChampdor and was trained by Pasal Etienne. Since 1997 he has been a member of the French national team. In Jericho he took part in the Junior World Championships for the first time in 1998 - without any notable successes - and then made his debut in the European Cup in Friedenweiler . His best placement here was a second place with the relay. In 2002 he made his biathlon world cup debut as 59th in the Oberhof sprint . In the following season he started in the European Cup and finished second behind Holger Schönthier in a sprint in Windischgarsten . Grebot achieved his best World Cup result in 2004 at Holmenkollen in Oslo , where he came 13th in a sprint race.
