Lisa Guth

Lisa Guth (born January 7, 1984 ) is a German actress .

Life

Lisa Guth grew up in Hamburg. After graduating from high school, she went to Madrid for a year to gain first international experience. She sang in a jazz trio there. After her return she sat in at the Altona Theater in Hamburg and at the Theater Bonn . In 2005 Guth decided to study theater, film and media studies at the University of Vienna , before studying drama from 2006 to 2010 at the Ernst Busch State Academy of Dramatic Arts .

Lisa Guth took part in several productions in the studio theater BAT while she was studying acting. She played the title role in “Verführbarkeit auf Two Sides” (directed by Matthias Günther ) and in “Push-Up” (directed by Michael Keller). This was followed by several productions by directing students. In summer 2010 she played Helena in “Midsummer Night's Dream” at the Burghofspiele Eltville am Rhein, staged by Thomas Bading and Claudia Geisler .

Guth has been working freelance in Berlin since graduating. She worked at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam in the "Snow Queen" in three different roles as well as in the main role in "Angstmän". She also works as a guest at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in Berlin and has been part of Katie Mitchell's production in “Fräulein Julie” since 2010 . Several guest performances followed, including to the Avignon Theater Festival.

At the end of the 2012 season Guth played the role of Anja in the production by Klaus Weise at the Bonn Theater in the “Kirschgarten”. From the 2012/2013 season Guth began her first permanent engagement at the Theater Bremen under the new management of Michael Börgerding .
