Lysanne Thibodeau

Lysanne Thibodeau , also Lisan Tibodo (born November 12, 1959 in Montreal ; † April 15, 2018 ) was a Canadian film director and musician.

Life

Thibodeau was the singer and keyboardist for the band Men Without Hats from 1980 to 1982 . From 1982 to 1996 she lived in Europe, mainly in Berlin. It was here that her first film Bad Blood for the Vampyr was made on Super-8 in 1984 ; Contributors were u. a. Blixa Bargeld , Gudrun Gut , The true Heino , the music was u. a. about the Einstürzende Neubauten and the doctors .

Thibodeau has also appeared in other people's films on occasion. After studying film at the Université Concordia in Montréal, he turned to documentary film. She lived in Montréal and was there from 1998 a member of the production company "Les Films de l'Autre".
