The monuments of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Hitzhofen are compiled on this page . This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority.

Hofstetten Castle Former prince-bishop's hunting lodge, pond complex, in the core 12th century, expanded in 1466, prince-bishop's forestry office since 1722, royal Bavarian forestry office after 1855, now privately owned;

Three-storey, simple three-wing building, placed around an inner courtyard, probably built by Jakob Engel in 1694, restoration and facade painting in 2005, medieval keep on the south side preserved;

Circular wall with three corner towers as a terrace lining wall partially reconstructed, in the core 17th century, changed in the 19th and 20th. Century;

Castle garden walling, built around 1700, renewed and supplemented around 1995;

Former prince-bishop's warehouses and grains, ground floor building with hipped roof with lime slab roof (renewed in 1981), built around 1750, in the 19th and 20th centuries. Structurally changed in the 19th century
