Former special building for the cement industry | The building was built in 1951 by the architects Gutschow, Finsterwald and Pistor in front of Hall 7 and was a Mercedes-Benz pavilion around 1985. Its floor and roof were each a cantilever plate attached to the same pillar. The building could be entered via a curved flight of stairs. It contained a triangular exhibition room that was glazed all around. Today (as of 2018) parts of the Convention Center are located here. |
