The pane is located directly on the border with Berlin, north of Brunsbütteler Damm, and is already within the solar park fence.

Station with reception building and goods shed as well as signal box Dwt The station was opened in 1871. The brick entrance building with adjoining goods shed also dates from that time. The underpass under the tracks with the half-timbered access structures on both sides of the station and on the platform was built around 1910. The three signal boxes, the command signal box Dl and the guard signal boxes Dot and Dwt also date from that time. The signal boxes were equipped with the "Mechanisch Siemens und Halske" technology, which is rarely found in Germany. The signal boxes were decommissioned at the beginning of the 1990s, the Dl was demolished when the line was expanded in the late 1990s, as was a toilet block. The two remaining signal boxes are today in a ruinous condition. The technology was expanded at both signal boxes.
