List of honorary citizens of Kulmbach
The honorary citizenship is the highest municipal award of the city of Kulmbach . The city also awards a silver and a gold citizen medal.
Since 1848 the following people have been made honorary citizens. The honorary citizenship of the factory owner Hans Sauermann was revoked by the National Socialists. The honorary citizenships bestowed on Adolf Hitler, Hans Schemm, Oskar Petschke and Todt during the Nazi era were revoked by a city council resolution at the end of 1945.
