This is a list of the parishes in San Marino
San Marino is divided into nine independent communities, "Castelli". The capital of the country is San Marino (Città di San Marino), the most populous municipality is Serravalle with 10,894 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2014).
The nine municipal districts are further subdivided into 43 Curazie , which correspond to the frazioni in Italy.
The following table lists the nine municipalities with the statistical data and the results of the official estimates from (31 December each) 1986, 1996, 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2014 (order according to number of inhabitants).
