List of cultural monuments in Meiningen-Südwest
The list of cultural monuments in Meiningen-Südwest lists the cultural monuments of the district southwest of the district town of Meiningen . The district with around 2,000 inhabitants consists of two residential areas west of the city center as well as residential and commercial areas in the south and south-west of the city.
A total of around 240 individual monuments , 16 monument ensembles , 8 ground monuments and 3 garden monuments are currently registered in Meiningen , of which there are around 40 individual monuments, 1 monument ensemble and 2 ground monuments in Meiningen-Südwest (status: February 2010). The registration of all monuments in the list of monuments of the Lower Monument Protection Authority in Meiningen has not yet been completed. The list does not claim to be complete.
