List of cultural monuments in Ravensburg
The list of cultural monuments in Ravensburg includes architectural and art monuments of the city of Ravensburg , which are recorded in the " Directory of immovable architectural and art monuments and objects to be inspected " of the Baden-Württemberg State Office for the Preservation of Monuments . This directory is not public and can only be viewed if there is a “legitimate interest”. The following list is therefore not complete and is based on information published elsewhere.
history
In 1925 56 objects were included in the first list of monuments, including all churches, towers and public buildings from the imperial city period. Many houses in the upper town added to the list; of the private houses in the lower town, only the Vogthaus was added at that time.
In 2011 there were 348 listed cultural monuments, 9 archaeological sites and approx. 60 small monuments in the urban area of Ravensburg including the localities.

Individual evidence
- ↑ The basis of the list is based on the last publication on the topic, a city map of the city center and the Weißenau monastery in the Baden-Württemberg town center atlas from 1988, in which the protected cultural monuments are marked in color. The designation of the objects mentioned in the list is therefore not official, but corresponds to the literature and current linguistic usage in Ravensburg. The basic stock of the list is therefore at the status of 1988 and is far from complete. Objects that were later placed under monument protection or are outside the map section published in 1988 were also included, provided that their monument status can be proven otherwise.
