1220 Baroque hall church with a mighty roof turret, of architectural and local importance.
  • to the church: Evangelical parish church. The picturesque hall church is probably of medieval origin. Today's appearance is largely shaped by the mighty roof turret from 1633 and the interior furnishings from the same period. Multiple restoration of the interior. The building with a gable roof and a retracted, rectangular, lower choir, eight-sided roof turret with a squat Welscher hood. On the north side of the sacristy, south portal vestibule probably from 1633. The interior plain. Galleries with heavily profiled support and parapet beams from around 1633. The mansion's box north of the choir has two floors, flanked by rough Ionic stucco pilaster architecture. Remarkable carved altar: The altar structure with the picture of the Ascension of Christ from 1683 flanked by Tuscan pilasters. The figures in the shrine represent a Mother of God, four female saints and the 12 apostles from the beginning of the 16th century. Strong characteristics, added on heads and hands in the 17th century. Altar crucifix around 1750, badly damaged. Body and angel heads made of stucco. (Dehio Sachsen Vol. I, p. 840).
