Sarissa De Vries (born February 17, 1989 in Lekkerkerk ) is a Dutch duathlete and triathlete . She is National Duathlon Champion (2016), Triathlon (2017, 2018) and Vice European Champion in the long-distance triathlon (2017).

Career

Sarissa De Vries studied health sciences at Maastricht University and she lives there.

In 2012 she was runner-up in triathlon in New Zealand in the U23 age group.

In 2015 she came second in the long-distance triathlon as part of the first Ironman Maastricht-Limburg (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running).

National Duathlon Champion 2016

Sarissa De Vries became national duathlon champion in October 2016.

Vice-European Champion Long Distance Triathlon 2017

In June 2017 she became national champion triathlon short distance in Amsterdam.
In September, the then 28-year-old became ETU Vice European Champion behind her compatriot Yvonne van Vlerken and thus also Vice State Champion in the long distance triathlon as part of the Challenge Almere-Amsterdam .

In 2018 she became national champion in the triathlon sprint distance.

In September 2019, the 30-year-old finished third in the European Triathlon Long Distance Championship as part of the Challenge Almere-Amsterdam.
