List of cultural assets in Sachseln

The list of cultural assets in Sachseln contains all objects in the municipality of Sachseln in the canton of Obwalden that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are fully included in the list (as of January 1, 2018). The list of cultural objects of local importance is currently being revised by the municipality of Sachseln in consultation with the cantonal office for culture and monument preservation (status: September 2012). The previous list of C objects from the building regulations of May 19, 1995, last changed on April 21, 2005, is given in the draft of the new building regulations of September 17, 2012. The objects mentioned there are listed under other architectural monuments .

On May 25, 2018, the Obwalden cantonal council decided on an addendum of March 27, 2018 to the cantonal protection plan for cultural objects of regional and national importance for the municipality of Sachseln. From the previous cantonal protection plan of 1993, two objects of protection of regional importance were released and 18 cultural objects of regional importance were newly included in the protection plan.
