2004 | In the green area in front of the new main building of the General Hospital of the City of Linz there is a circular system with nine "boulders" and in the middle a water-donating stone well. The arrangement is reminiscent of Stonehenge or other Celtic stone circles, which today are considered Stone Age cult sites or places with special "energy fields" and are up to 5000 years old. The idea for the facility goes back to the maintenance director Erich O. Gattner, like the entire park, the stone circle was planned and implemented by the Linz City Gardens. | |||
