St-Sébastien Church | St-Sébastien was built in 1285 and was the parish church of the vanished village of Oberkirch until 1489. In the 14th century Dambach was made a town and the church had to be expanded due to the population growth. The church was confiscated during the French Revolution, but the townspeople raised money and bought the chapel back. To date, the church is owned by 32 Dambach families. The oldest parts of the church date back to the 12th century. Only the square west tower and the adjoining wall section with the arched gate in the south have survived. The Romanesque nave was rebuilt in the 14th century and a Gothic choir was added to the east, which slightly towers over the nave. The flat-roofed hall with a wooden beam ceiling ends in a Gothic choir with a 3/4 end.

Amber Castle | The castle was built on a granite rock in the 12th or 13th century by the questions of Egisheim-Dagsburg. However, it was first mentioned in 1009. In the 13th century the castle went to the bishops of Strasbourg and became the seat of the episcopal bailiwick. In 1580 this was moved to Benfeld and the castle was unused from then on. In 1632 the complex was looted during the Thirty Years War and then largely destroyed during the French Revolution. The lower castle was built on the eastern part of the rock. The gate tower erected in the 15th century and several hardly preserved buildings are located here. The approximately 16-meter-high, pentagonal keep in the western upper castle is visible from afar. To the east of this is the two-storey hall and the chapel tower with the St. Margareta castle chapel.

City fortifications | The city belonged to the Counts of Eguisheim in the 12th century, and from 1227 to the Bishops of Strasbourg. The place already had a simple city wall in the 12th century. This was greatly expanded in the 14th century. Remnants of the city wall have been preserved, as well as some city gates such as the Untertor (Ebersheimer Tor) from 1323, the Grendeltor (Blienschwillerer Tor) from 1335 and the Neutor (Dieffenthaler Tor) from the 15th century. The city wall and gate towers were built from granite and sandstone, some roughly hewn and with Gothic pointed arches.

town hall | The town hall is a gable-independent two-storey plastered building with high stepped gables. Although it was not built until 1547, the building is still clearly inspired by the Gothic. You enter the town hall via a high flight of stairs in the middle of the five axes on the gable side. The portal is formed by pilasters that support an entablature with a curved gable. A field with a triangular gable and playing bears sits in the center above the gable ledge. A gable turret with tracery towers over the entrance gable.
