This is a list of the number one hits in Austria in 1973. It is based on the singles and album lists of the Austrian charts . After a one-and-a-half-year break, the top 20 singles and top 10 album charts appeared for the first time on January 15, 1973, and from then on they were published monthly in the middle of each month.
