Stolperstein Solingen Bergerstraße 63 Willi Reeks.jpg Wilhelm Reeks , who was born in Solingen, was a staunch and active member of the KPD. After his protective custody in the Börgermoor concentration camp , he took on advisory tasks in Solingen on April 4, 1934 without appearing directly, as he was known to the police. In 1934 Ernst brought Bertram to Wuppertal to rebuild the KPD and its organizations there. In 1935 he was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison in the Wuppertal trade union trial, later he was sent to the Lüttringhausen prison . After his release he volunteered for the bomb detonation squad to remove duds after air raids. On June 20, 1943 he was killed in a bomb detonation in Düsseldorf .

Via Leipzig she came to Solingen with her husband Itzko Stock on October 24, 1889. In 1892 she moved to Kiev and in 1904 back with her son to Solingen, where she ran a small business of writing and tobacco goods. Her husband died in 1936. In 1938 she moved into the house of Friederike Blondine Strauss and Herta and Walter Brauer . In 1939, she was in the Judenhaus admitted to the Jewish old people's home in Elberfeld Pfaff Weg 190 and 1,941th With the transport VII / 1, č. 877 (from Düsseldorf to Terezín) she was deported to Theresienstadt on July 22, 1942, where she died of intestinal catarrh on September 20, 1942 at the age of 82, according to a death report.
