The Australian ambassador in Copenhagen is also regularly accredited in Oslo and Reykjavík . Acting Ambassador is Damien Miller.

history

Until 1974, the Ambassador of Australia in The Hague was also accredited to the government in Copenhagen. In November 1970, the Consulate General in Copenhagen, at that time at Hammerensgade 4, was upgraded to an embassy. In 1988 the Australian embassy was located at Kristianiagade 21. From May 1997 to 2002 the Australian embassy in Copenhagen was closed. Instead, the Stockholm- based ambassador was regularly accredited by Margrethe II . The embassy is currently located in Dampfaergevej 26.
